CMA'S Inspiration

Our decision to establish this non-profit was prompted after watching a local evening news segment about a 12 year old boy's death, from an untreated, infective cavity.
Washington Post,

To ensure funding goes directly to the medical treatment of children, we are proud to partner with The Children's Free Clinic of Southern Nevada (formerly Clinics In Schools). Founded and directed by Dr. Noah Kohn. Providing primary care pediatric exams; physicals; minor and chronic illness evaluations and treatment; injury treatment and vaccinations to the uninsured and underinsured children of Southern Nevada.

The Children's Free Clinic of Southern Nevada is open year round; centrally located in the AFAN Building, in the E. Sahara and Maryland Parkway area.

*The Children's Free Clinic has unfortunately closed, due to lack of funding. We are in the process of developing a new partnership with another clinic and will keep you posted.  Thank you, Dr. Kohn, for being a great partner!

We are privileged to be the only non-profit offering a free prescription drug program to the uninsured children, in Southern Nevada.  Therefore, we have contracted with Walgreens Pharmacy.

Since the inception of CMA Prescription Purchase Program, (November 2008) we continue to purchase thousands of prescriptions drugs each year; ensuring the children treated at The Children's Free Clinic of Southern Nevada, a complete recovery of an illness, or proper maintenance of a chronic condition.

Magic of Giving

We are fortunate to be able to give 100 percent of your monetary gift to the medical treatment of the children. 75 percent of all Special Events and Corporate Grant proceeds (unless otherwise required) also goes directly to the medical treatment of children!
